    Description

These are original sake labels from the late 1800's for various bottles of sake.
    They are
originals. They were still in their wrappers when we found them at an antiques auction in Japan.
Some of the paper edges are a little rough. But the ones shown are perfect examples of what we'll mail out.
The artistry and colors make them great art pieces.
And the interesting part of these are . . .
Look closely at the printed English. Japan was trying to modernize itself and that meant
    using
English in their advertising to showed they were "International" and "Modern".
But, often they didn't have a good grasp of English spelling. And spacing between words was sometimes a mystery.
These were common mistakes made in Japan in the late 1800's to the very early 1900's.
We have 7 different sets of these.
And discounted pricing for multiple orders of the same set.
